This Privacy Policy explains how Blocktario Corp. ("Blocktario", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit www.blocktario.com (the "Site") or purchase our products.

1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors to our Site and to people who submit their information through our forms (newsletter signup, free kit download, contact form, waitlist signup). It does not cover Gumroad, which processes all product purchases separately and has its own privacy policy at gumroad.com/privacy.
Our Site and products are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address, when you sign up for the newsletter, download the Free Startup Kit, join a waitlist, or contact us.
- Name and message content, when you send us a message through the contact form.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect limited technical information through Vercel Analytics, our hosting and analytics provider:
- Anonymized page views and navigation events
- Referring website
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate geographic region (country/city, not precise location)

Information collected through purchases
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, Inc., not by Blocktario. When you buy a product, Gumroad collects and processes your payment information, name, email, and billing address. Blocktario receives limited information from Gumroad about completed sales (typically your email address and the product purchased) so we can deliver support and updates. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the products you purchase and any promised free downloads
- Send transactional emails (order confirmation, download links, product updates)
- Send marketing emails, if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe from any email
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Understand which pages perform well and improve the Site
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for retargeting on other websites.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the third parties needed to run Blocktario:
- Gumroad, Inc. — payment processing, product delivery, and buyer records
- Formspree — routes form submissions to our inbox (newsletter, free kit, contact form)
- Vercel — Site hosting and privacy-conscious analytics
- Email service provider — for sending newsletters and transactional email
Each of these providers is contractually bound to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Cookies
The Site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. Gumroad may set its own cookies when its checkout script loads on our product pages or during checkout on Gumroad's own domain — those cookies are governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.
If we add an advertising platform in the future (e.g. Meta or Google Ads), we will update this policy and add a cookie consent banner where required.
6. International transfers
Blocktario Corp. is based in Ontario, Canada. Our service providers (Gumroad, Vercel, Formspree) are primarily based in the United States. If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another region with data-transfer restrictions, please be aware that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your home country.
We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
7. How long we keep your information
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Free-kit and waitlist signups: until you request removal.
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Purchase records: as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 6 years in Canada).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Object to certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on the Site and access controls on our systems. No online service is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers by email.
